Addendum B<br />

Full-time officers that are assigned to positions where plain-clothes are worn on a regular or semi-regular basis (i.e. -<br />

Chief of Police, Detective, School Resource Officer, etc.) are permitted to purchase civilian clothes with their annual<br />

uniform allowances. These items must be submitted to and approved by the Chief of Police before they are purchased.<br />

When an officer is in need of patches for uniforms, he/she must obtain the patches from the Police Clerk. The Police Clerk<br />

shall maintain an inventory of said patches and shall document the total number of patches, badge number, and date of<br />

assignment.<br />

Upon purchasing new uniform items, officers shall remove patches from retired uniforms and return them to the Police<br />

Clerk. The Police Clerk shall document the number of patches received, badge number, and date received. The patches<br />

shall be re-used if in good condition or destroyed.<br />

Black uniform/dress pants<br />

Black skirt<br />

Black boots or shoes (closed toe)<br />

Black leather belt<br />

Polo shirt<br />

Oxford shirt<br />

Pull-over sweater<br />

Cardigan sweater<br />

Fleece jacket<br />

The Administrative Assistant, Police Clerk, full-time dispatchers, and part-time dispatchers will be provided, on an annual<br />

basis, a combination of a cash allowance to purchase pants, shoes, boots, and belts and an allowance of shirts, jackets,<br />

and/or sweaters that are purchased directly by the City. The Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for the process<br />

of purchasing said items. All attire is subject to City branding and will be purchased by a City authorized vendor. The City<br />

logo will be embroidered on the left chest and the word “Communications” will be embroidered under the City logo and<br />

“911” will be embroidered on the cuff of the left sleeve unless otherwise approved by the Chief of Police.<br />

After employment with the Police Department and successfully completing the any required training program, a jacket,<br />

shirts, and a cardigan sweater will be purchased for a civilian employee.<br />

Employees may choose the style(s) of shirts as follows: oxford or polo style, long or short sleeved, in the colors of either<br />

pantone green, pantone bronze, or black. Also available is a black v-neck pullover sweater. For allowance purposes, the v-<br />

neck sweater is considered as a shirt purchase.<br />

Jackets will be of fleece style and cardigan sweaters may be of a zip or button up style. Jackets and cardigan sweaters both<br />

will be black in color.<br />

Full-time personnel will be provided five (5) shirts and part-time personnel will be provided three (3) shirts in addition to<br />

the jacket and cardigan sweater. Shirts will be replaced on an annual basis and jackets and cardigan sweaters will be<br />

replaced as needed.
