Subject:- Firm and final seniority list of Drivers of Kashmir Division.
Whereas, a tentative seniority list of Drivers of Kashmir
Division was circulated vide this ofhce No. DRDK/Estt/ 324 197/
27 9 I -2830 dated 29 -4 -2O 13;
Whereas, aggrieved persons of the position assigned to
them in the seniority list were asked to file objections in this behalf
within 15 days to this office from the date of its publication;
Waereas, following three Drivers filed their objections
before the Department for necessary rectification:-
1. Latief Ahmad Magray Driver of the office of Xen REW
Srinagar/ Ganderbal.
2. Ivlohammad Mussa Driver of the office of ACD Kargil.
3. T.P.Singh Driver C/O DRDJ.
Whereas, their representations were examined and
considered as per details shown against each:-
Ganderbal.
Shri Latief has stated in his representation that he has joined in
the department on 29-05-20O7 whileas his counterparts who too
have been appointed on the same date under order No.392-DRDK of
2OO7 dated29-O5-2OO7 have joined on 3O-OS-20O7 and 31-O5-2OO7
therefore his seniority may be fixed over and above of these drivers.
In this context, Rule 24 (1) of J&K Classification, Control and
Appeal Rules, 1956 is reproduced hereunder:-

Since the seniority of these Drivers have been fixed from the
date they have been appointed strictly in accordance with the Rules/
norms prescribed for the purpose. Therefore, the representation filed
by the driver has no merit.
Mohammad Mussa Driver of the ollice of ACD Kargil.
Due to tlpica-l error the name of the above named driver was
not shown in the said seniority list, however, the same has been
rectifred and proper position has been given to the said driver.
T.P.Singh Driver C/O DRDJ.
Shri T.P.Singh has stated in his representation that he was
transferred from this Division to Jammu Division by the Government
vide order No. 109-GAD of 2OO4 dated 7-5-2004 and his lien has
been retained in Kashmir Division. He has requested that his name
seniorilt may be incorporated in the said seniority list.
While examining his representation it has been found that he
has been regularized as Helper and thereafter his services has been
utilized as Driver being the driving licence holder and allowed to
draw his pay against the post of Driver in the pay scale of Rs. 3050-
4910. Therefore, his request has not been considered for fu
