SHERATON MAUI RESORT & SPA OFFERS ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING<br />

STATIONS FOR RESORT VISITORS<br />

Ka’anapali, HI - The <strong>Sheraton</strong> <strong>Maui</strong> Resort & Spa announced the install of two electric vehicle<br />

charging stations in their resort parking structure on Tuesday, February 28 th .<br />

Guests and patrons of the resort will now be able to charge their electric vehicles while<br />

enjoying the resorts 23 acres, Ka’anapali Beach or legendary Black Rock. The two stations,<br />

located on the second floor of the resorts parking structure, are fully dedicated to electric<br />

vehicle charging and can accommodate two vehicles per station. Guests and patrons can drive<br />

up to the porte-cochere and request that their vehicles be charged via the resorts valet parking<br />

services.<br />

“We are very excited to offer such an environmentally friendly option for our guests and<br />

visitors”, stated Tetsuji Yamazaki, General Manager of the <strong>Sheraton</strong> <strong>Maui</strong> Resort & Spa. “We<br />

are proud to be one of the first resorts on the island of <strong>Maui</strong> to provide our eco-conscious<br />

consumers with a place to continue their efforts.”<br />

In partnership with Better Place, The <strong>Sheraton</strong> <strong>Maui</strong> Resort & Spa is the third Kyo-ya Hotels &<br />

Resorts owned and Starwood Hotels & Resorts managed property in Hawaii to install electric<br />

vehicle charging stations for their guests and visitors.<br />
