Every night after the Concert You
will find a bonfire in the campground
where campers can gather together
and sing. The emphasis is on
campers singing; songs we know
and like; and/or songs with good
choruses. About half Past eleven,
search out the magic of the charmed
circle, join in and sing out!

The large blue and white tent on
the west side of the park is a
Workshop and Mini-Concert area
throughout the day. From eleven at
night until one in the morning it is
transformed into a lively After Hours
Club for performance and dancing.

lnspired by the colourful open-air
markets of the middle east this
intriguing space, a Festival first,
features interesting and unique,
manufactured and hand made
articles from Canada and other
countries. Feel free to meander;
maybe you will find yourself a
treasure!

This is an area for everyone. lt is
the enchanted forest where anything
can happen. There is a Performance
Stage featuring music, dance,
singing, storytelling and theatre. lf
you think that there is no instrument
you can either play or afford, think
again. In Learn and Do, you can learn
how to build your very own dulcimer
out of cardboard with a kit, as well as
how to play it. At Folk Arts, come to
the Teddy Bear's Picnic and learn
how to make your own teddy bear, or
join the Lettuce (Let Us) Patch
Puppets, and learn how to make your
own puppets. Kits will be available
for purchase at a modest prtce. In the
Tattoo and Massage Parlour you can
have your face "tattooed",
questions, and tell some stories.
Between sets at Cabaret Tent search
the sky for the summer constellations
such as Pegasus, Leo, Ursa
Major (The Big Dipper), the Summer
Triangle, and others. Stay longer to
take your turn at gazing through,one
of two telescopes to view the Moon,
coming into fullness on July 31, or to
see Saturn, some double stars, and
perhaps the Andromeda Galaxy.
The informal workshop setting
provides an opportunity for some
discussion and some music. lt is the
place to share information, and learn
about the many aspects of making
music. For example, workshops in
Songwriting, Gospel, Sweet Harmonies,
Percussion, Exotic Rhythms,
and Storytelling are being scheduled.
They will occur between the hours of
eleven and six on Saturday and
Sunday on five different stages. Mini-
Concerts given by many Festival
performers will also take place
during the day at these stage areas.
