Authors’ Biographies
Ralf Christofori (* 1967 in Traunstein,
A) studied art history and philosophy in
Heidelberg. He published 2005 his dissertation
under the title Bild-Modell-
Wirklichkeit. 1998-2000 he worked as
scientific co-worker for Württembergischer
Kunstverein Stuttgart and curated
amongst others die exhibitions Colour
me blind! Malerei in Zeiten von Computergame
und Comic (1999) and Night on
Earth (2001). Since 2001 he works as freelance
art critic amongst others for Frankfurter
Allgemeine Zeitung, Tagesspiegel
Berlin, and artmagazines like Frieze,
Kunst-Bulletin, Kunstforum International
and Monopol. He is editor of numerous
catalog articles and essays on contemporary
art and culture.
Sabine Dorscheid (*1969 in Aachen,
D) is curator. She studied art history, art
management, philosophy, German literature
in Aachen, Düsseldorf and Amsterdam.
In 1997 she submitted her master’s
thesis on Thomas Demand. 1998-2003:
research assistant at the university of
Wuppertal, university teaching position
and head of the Wuppertal academic design
collection. 2000: head and curator of
design competition STADT LAND FORM.
2003: Project ‘Lieing in Public Space’ (Liegen
im öffentlichen Raum) plan 03, Köln.
2003: curator in residence, Krems. 2004:
completed doctoral dissertation: ‘Staatliche
Kunstförderung in den Niederlanden
nach 1945’ (Government Support of the
Arts in the Netherlands After 1945) 2004:
National report of the Netherlands for the
Cultural Investigation Commission of the
German parliament. Since 2004 as junior
director of Galerie Krinzinger, Vienna.
Thomas Trummer (* 1967 in Bruck/
Mur, A) studied music, art history and
philosophy. He is curator for modern and
contemporary art at the Österreichische
Galerie Belvedere in Vienna and did numerous
publications on the history of aesthetics
and contemporary art, among others:
