She began performing with her father’s jazz band when she was three and has never stopped. She joins at MA4 with her crowd-pleasing concert, “An Evening with Molly Ringwald.” She returns to her roots as a singer, performing a flavorsome arrangement of jazz songs from her album, Except Sometimes. Best known for her beehive-wearing stint with blues diva Candye Kane in the '90's, local favorite Sue Palmer has been making her mark in the last decade with her high energy band, the Motel Swing Orchestra, and her flashy boogie woogie stylings. Lex Romane, with his distinctive vocals, plays guitar, fusing the intense rhythmic drive of masters like Freddie Green with modern R&B feeling. On clarinet, he offers tribute to Pete Fountain, Jimmy Hamilton, & Eddie Daniels.
