GHSH TASK 24-36-01-400-802-A
1. Main Battery - Connection
A. General
(1) This task gives the procedure to connect the main batteries.
(2) There are 2 batteries. Battery 1 is installed in the LH (Left Hand) forward
compartment, and battery 2 is installed in a non-controlled environment
compartment, in the RH (Right Hand) wing-to-fuselage aft fairing.
B. Job Set-Up
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the same configuration as it was at the end
of the removal task (GHSH TASK 24-36-01-000-802-A/400).
C. Main Battery - Connection
(1) Connect battery 1 as follows: (Refer to Figure 401)
(a) Remove the protective cap from the electrical connector and from the
battery connector.
(b) Connect the electrical connector to the battery connector.
(2) Connect battery 2 as follows: (Refer to Figure 402)
(a) Remove the protective cap from the electrical connector and from the
battery connector.
(b) Connect the electrical connector to the battery connector.
D. Job Close-Up
(1) Remove all tools, equipment and unwanted materials from the work area.
(2) For battery 1:
(a) Install the access panel 211DZ.
(b) Close the forward baggage-compartment door.
(3) For battery 2, close the access door 195FR.
(4) On the ELECTRICAL control panel, remove the DO NOT OPERATE tag
from the BATT 1 and BATT 2 switches.
