GHSH TASK 24-36-01-400-802-A<br />
1. Main Battery - Connection<br />
A. General<br />
(1) This task gives the procedure to connect the main batteries.<br />
(2) There are 2 batteries. Battery 1 is installed in the LH (Left Hand) forward<br />
compartment, and battery 2 is installed in a non-controlled environment<br />
compartment, in the RH (Right Hand) wing-to-fuselage aft fairing.<br />
B. Job Set-Up<br />
(1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the same configuration as it was at the end<br />
of the removal task (GHSH TASK 24-36-01-000-802-A/400).<br />
C. Main Battery - Connection<br />
(1) Connect battery 1 as follows: (Refer to Figure 401)<br />
(a) Remove the protective cap from the electrical connector and from the<br />
battery connector.<br />
(b) Connect the electrical connector to the battery connector.<br />
(2) Connect battery 2 as follows: (Refer to Figure 402)<br />
(a) Remove the protective cap from the electrical connector and from the<br />
battery connector.<br />
(b) Connect the electrical connector to the battery connector.<br />
D. Job Close-Up<br />
(1) Remove all tools, equipment and unwanted materials from the work area.<br />
(2) For battery 1:<br />
(a) Install the access panel 211DZ.<br />
(b) Close the forward baggage-compartment door.<br />
(3) For battery 2, close the access door 195FR.<br />
(4) On the ELECTRICAL control panel, remove the DO NOT OPERATE tag<br />
from the BATT 1 and BATT 2 switches.<br />
