CAUTION: DO NOT LET CLEANING PRODUCTS (SOLVENTS) TOUCH<br />

SEALANT BEADS, LENSES, POLYCARBONATE WIN-<br />

DOWS, WINDSHIELDS, PAINTED SURFACES, AND<br />

ACRYLIC PARTS. SOLVENTS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO<br />

THESE SURFACES.<br />

CAUTION: DO NOT PUT ON WATCHES, BRACELETS, RINGS, OR<br />

CLOTHES WITH ZIP FASTENERS WHEN YOU CLEAN WIN-<br />

DOWS. DO NOT USE METAL TOOLS TO CLEAN WIN-<br />

DOWS. METAL OBJECTS CAN SCRATCH THE<br />

TRANSPARENCY AND CAUSE OPTICAL DISTORTION.<br />

CAUTION: DO NOT USE ABRASIVE MATERIALS TO CLEAN WIN-<br />

DOWS. ABRASIVE MATERIALS CAN SCRATCH THE<br />

TRANSPARENCY AND CAUSE OPTICAL DISTORTION.<br />

(1) Remove all excess amounts of dirt and other foreign matter from the<br />

acrylic surface with clean water. Preferred initial application is by spraying<br />

or flooding the surface to wash away any abrasive materials. If spraying or<br />

flooding is impractical, a clean sponge or wipe cloth should be used.<br />

NOTE: Remove or cover/protect watches, rings, and other metal<br />

object on person (belt buckle, rivets on jeans, tools in pockets)<br />

that may cause scratches before any windshield maintenance.<br />

(2) Wash gently with 50/50 water-to-TT-I-735 alcohol solution containing a mild<br />

liquid soap in a 2% to 5% concentration.<br />

NOTE: The mild liquid soap can be detergents formulated for washing<br />

dishes by hand. Dawn, Joy, Palmolive or Ivory are recommended.<br />

(3) Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a damp chamois, sponge,<br />

or wipe cloth.<br />

EQUIPMENT AFTER YOU COMPLETED THE WORK.<br />

used.<br />
