(2) Mix the cleaning solution, which must have 90 parts of warm clean water<br />

and 10 parts of mild liquid soap.<br />

NOTE: You can use Windex to clean the surface as an alternative.<br />

(3) Lightly soak a shop wipe in soap solution and clean the surface in a circular<br />

soft motion.<br />

NOTE: Turn the cloth frequently to prevent the dirt from redepositing.<br />

O. Formica Surfaces - Cleaning<br />

(1) Lightly rub the surface with a wiper cloth soaked in neutral detergent to<br />

fully clean it.<br />

(2) Use a wiper cloth soaked in clean water to fully remove the neutral detergent.<br />

(3) Rub the surface dry with a wiper cloth.<br />

(4) If necessary, clean the surface with a wiper cloth moist with water and<br />

neutral detergent.<br />

(5) Rub the surface with a wiper cloth soaked in neutral detergent to make<br />

sure that it is fully clean.<br />

(6) Fully remove all neutral detergent with a cloth soaked in clean water.<br />

(7) Rub the surface dry with a wiper cloth.<br />

P. Decorative Platings - Cleaning<br />

(1) This procedure is applicable to decorative platings of a distinct variety of<br />

materials. These include gold, nickel, copper, brass, chrome, smoke<br />

nickel, rose gold, silver and platinum.<br />

CAUTION: IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT PLATED SURFACE CON-<br />

TACTED BY MOISTURE (ESPECIALLY WATER, TOMATO<br />

AND ORANGE JUICE, CARBONATED SOFT DRINKS, AND<br />

ALCOHOL) BE WIPED IMMEDIATELY AFTER EACH<br />

FLIGHT.<br />

CAUTION: DO NOT PERMIT WATER TO DRY ON THE PARTS. THE<br />

MINERAL CONTENT IN SOME WATER WILL LEAVE<br />

DEPOSITS THAT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE.<br />

CAUTION: WHEN YOU SOAK THE CLOTH, DO NOT PUT IT OVER<br />

THE SOLVENT CONTAINER MOUTH AND TURN THE CON-<br />

TAINER. THIS CAN CAUSE CONTAMMINATION OF THE<br />

SOLVENT SOURCE. ALWAYS POUR THE SOLVENT ONTO<br />

THE CLOTH OR USE A DISPENSER CAN DESIGNED TO<br />

ISOLATE CONTAMINANTS.<br />

CAUTION:DO NOT LET SOLVENTS TOUCH THE DECOR MATERIAL<br />

OR PLASTIC COMPONENTS. MEK AND ACETONE CAN<br />

CAUSE DAMAGE TO SOME COMPONENTS AND MATE-<br />

EFFECTIVITY: ALL<br />
