SPEAKERS<br />
<strong>Chad</strong> Dennis is in his first season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Texas A&M football<br />
team.<br />
Dennis returns to Aggieland after spending the last seven seasons as the Assistant Director of Sports<br />
Performance at the University of Houston and the 2005-06 campaign at the University of Connecticut.<br />
Before arriving in College Station, Dennis worked at Westfield <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> in Spring, Texas, from 2000-02,<br />
where he served as an assistant football coach and directed the team's strength and conditioning program.<br />
Dennis spent the six years prior to that appointment working as a physical therapy technician at several<br />
occupational health care facilities. He spent 7 seasons at the University of Houston and one year at University<br />
of Connecticut.<br />
Dennis graduated from the University of Texas in 1993, with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. He earned a<br />
master's degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M in 2005. Dennis is certified by both the National <strong>Strength</strong> and<br />
Conditioning Association (NSCA) and College <strong>Strength</strong> and Conditioning <strong>Coach</strong>es Association (CSCCA).<br />
While at UT, he played tight end for his first two seasons but, hampered by injuries, spent his final two seasons<br />
in Austin working as a student assistant strength and conditioning coach.<br />
Ed Cosner has taught and trained with the single goal of bringing out the best in each athlete. As an<br />
internationally recognized <strong>Strength</strong> and Conditioning <strong>Coach</strong> with more than 20 years’ experience creating
champion athletes, Ed Cosner's passion for coaching has led him all over the world to coach with and to learn<br />
from the best coaches out there.<br />

Mike Cadell is currently the head coach at Axtell high school, where he is the winningest coach in school history. He<br />
played at Eastern New Mexico University on a full athletic scholarship. Mike worked under Bob Fix on the University of<br />
Baylor’s strength staff while attaining his bachelor’s degree. He also served at La Vega <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> where he was Head<br />
Powerlifting <strong>Coach</strong> and Defensive Co-coordinator. He was the 2000 FCA “<strong>Coach</strong> of the Year. “ He also served as the<br />
2009 FCA Victory Bowl <strong>Coach</strong>.<br />
<strong>John</strong> <strong>Mitchell</strong> is the current <strong>Strength</strong> and Conditioning <strong>Coach</strong> at A&M <strong>Consolidated</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>. He also<br />
coaches offensive line and power-lifting. His previous stops were at PSJA Memorial, New Braunfels-Canyon,<br />
and Austin Reagan. He served under Bob Fix on the Baylor University <strong>Strength</strong> Staff, and interned under Jeff<br />
“Mad Dog” Madden at the University of Texas. He is certified by the USAW and NSCA-CSCS.<br />
Jeff Kachermeyer is the current <strong>Strength</strong> and Conditioning <strong>Coach</strong> at Houston Madison <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>. He was<br />
previously at Sinton <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> where he served as Track <strong>Coach</strong>, Football, and <strong>Strength</strong> and Conditioning.<br />
He was also in charge of the running portion of UT <strong>Strength</strong> Camp. He is currently certified under the US<br />
Track Association and a member of the NSCA.
