AUDIT LOG<br />

The spectrum files are saved<br />

without a key (i.e. without<br />

an eSignature).<br />

During acquisition, the<br />

integrity of the background<br />

or stored phase file is<br />

checked. If an integrity error<br />

occurs, an error is displayed<br />

to the user and added to<br />

the audit log.<br />

Each spectrum acquired by <strong>Bomem</strong>-<strong>GRAMS</strong> includes a block of information<br />

called the audit log. The audit log contains unalterable information about the file<br />

including the time the file was collected, the user, the instrument,<br />

the background or phase file (if applicable), etc., as well as all operations<br />

performed on the file.<br />

To view the audit log of a trace, select Trace Information in the File menu of<br />

<strong>Bomem</strong>-<strong>GRAMS</strong>, then click the Audit Log button. The following is an example<br />

of the audit log of a spectrum file:<br />
