Start a sample scan<br />

Parameters<br />

sigma_min: start of display range in cm -1<br />

sigma_max: end of display range in cm -1<br />

delay: delay in seconds before acquisition starts<br />

scans: number of scans to acquire<br />

name: file name to save data under, extension is always imposed<br />

according to the type of spectrum acquired<br />

memo: comment to associate with this file<br />

type: 0 - Interferogram, extension .interferogram.spc<br />

1 - Raw spectrum, extension .SingleBeam.spc<br />

2 - Transmittance, extension .Transmittance.spc<br />

3 - Absorbance, extension .Absorbance.spc<br />

bname: The file name of the background. This is used if the<br />
