Shoulder half rings<br />
So as to keep them in their seats during assembly, put a bit of<br />
grease.<br />
The half-rings must be assembled with the slots A as in the figure.<br />
Thickness of half-rings is equal to 2.31÷2.36 mm.<br />
They are supplied as spare parts as increased thickness 0.1 and 0.2<br />
mm, see below.<br />

Crankshaft axial clearance<br />
After tightening the main bearings measure the axial clearance A<br />
between the crankshaft flywheel side shoulder and the main bearing<br />
half rings.<br />

Grinding B as per relevant table, you can mount the following half<br />
rings:<br />
1 st Oversized element Half rings 1 and 2 + 0.10 mm on both sides<br />
of the bearing<br />
2 nd Oversized element Half rings 1 and 2 + 0.10 mm on one side of<br />
the support and + 0.20 mm on the other<br />
side.<br />
3 rd Oversized element Half rings 1 and 2 + 0.20 mm on both sides<br />
of the bearing.<br />
