Disassembly / Reassembly<br />

Timing belt cover<br />
Loosen the five screws and remove the cover.<br />
<br />
When rifitting tighten the screws at a torque of 10 Nm.<br />
Check the peripheral rubber sealing gasket and the two dustprotection<br />
rings of the two pulleys, if mounted.<br />

Components:<br />
1 Camshaft pulley<br />
2 Timing belt<br />
3 Crankshaft pulley<br />
4 Coolant pump pulley<br />
5 Belt tensioner pulley<br />

Timing belt removal<br />
Important<br />
When you remove the distributor belt replace it even if its<br />
prescribed operation time has not expired yet.<br />
Danger – Attention<br />
Always check that the positive pole of the battery is insulated.<br />
Remove the belt tensioner 1.<br />
Remove the timing belt off the timing pulley.<br />
