The SAA, TM Abdul Jaleel, started the meeting with a
slight delay. Gaining confidence meetings after
meetings, our SAA is now incorporating humor in his
address, asking for our mobiles to be on silent mode
during the meeting as husbands are at home. The SAA
thanked TM Dr. Shankar for his generosity and invited
the President on stage.
FOY President, TM Chandrashekar, opened the meeting
with a personal story related to God and how he saw
the power of God several times in his life. “Faith is

as jolly as ever, introduced the word of the day ‘Assertive’ which means
confident, firm.

Project 1 – Ice Breaker from CC Manual by TM Nawaf
TM Nawaf broke the ice with his speech ‘My life so far’ – We
learned from his origins i.e. where his grand father came from
– Bhukari. TM Nawaf is Half Palestinian. The speaker spent his
early childhood in Palestine then moved to France where he
graduated from the American University in Paris. Married for
the past 21 years with 3 kids, his family is now is Ottawa
where they all migrated few years ago. His hobby is painting.

Project(6(–(Voice(Variety(from(CC(Manual(by(TM(Sonali
“Give vent to your feelings” - The eloquent speaker is on a roll
to complete her CC manual in the upcoming months. All her
projects are a delight to listen to with her enriching
vocabulary. Before delivering this project, TM Sonali, got
several tips from her friends ‘You are a master of law
conversation. Let your speech be better than your silence.’ The
‘Naughty at 40’ speaker (as she would call herself) had the
audience mesmerized by the quality of the language used. As
TM Sonali put it ‘Variety is the spice of life’ and we can say
her speech was spicy!
Advance project from Entertainment Manual by TM Sashi
“My Cousin, a 35+ Bachelor” - Entertaining to the core was
the speech of TM Sashi. The speaker entertained us with the
adventures of his 35+ Bachelor cousin on his journey to find a
bride. If a girl liked his cousin, the cousin rejected the girl and
if the cousin liked a girl, the girl rejected him. The speech was
full of humorous scenes and expressions. Example of a Punch
line in TM Sashi’s speech ‘Dubai believes in waste segregation
while my cousin believes in waste aggregation.” This sentence
was used when describing the messy flat of his cousin in Dubai.
Kudos TM Sashi for making us laugh so early in the morning!

TM Saju made a strong
comeback as an evaluator. He
appreciated the guts the
speaker had for delivering his
first speech. TM Saju
acknowledged that the speaker
was tension free, had a good
voice and spoke clearly. The
evaluator was impressed by the
way the speaker scripted his
project and confirmed that the
speaker surely met the
objectives of the project.
TM Don mentioned the ‘how to
s a y i t ’ p roject h a s b e e n
designed for TM Sonali. The
evaluator was impressed by the
speaker’s amazing quality of
words. TM Don found our
speaker was very expressive
which made her speech
pleasant to listen to. As our
speaker had so so much to say,
suggestion would be to give
pauses (we are the MTV
generation), breathing space. It
was a terrific project.

mentioned that the speech was
really entertaining with a lot of
h u m o r . T h e e v a l u a t o r
suggested to have more
pauses and wished the end of
the speech to have been more
Bollywood style i.e. happy
ending. TM Hanif thoroughly
enjoyed the speech.

General Evaluation
TERIMA KASIH TM SAJU
FOR THE TM Kailash, MEMENTO our football FROM fan, is back MALAYSIA
with a bang as a General Evaluator.
The energetic GE was impressed
with the role players, from the SAA
to the timer. TM Kailash enjoyed the
speeches.
One area the GE would like the club
to focus on is timing and the club
needs to be strict on that. All
segments of the meeting were
thoroughly analyzed and all role
players received feedbacks. Goal TM
Kailash!
Grammarian Report
TM George reported that
the word of the day was
used 8 times. The wellspoken
grammarian
pointed out the great
usage of language and
the areas of improvement
the members should pay
attention to.
