HASSAN ABOU-BAKR (Egypt) is professor at the Agronomy Department<br />

of the Cairo University<br />

AURELIO ALONSO (Cuba) is a sociologist, researcher and lecturer at<br />

the Sociological and Psychological Research Centre of the University of<br />

La Habana and visiting professor at the Universidad Central de Las Villas.<br />

He is deputy director of the journal „Casa de las Américas“.<br />

GABRIELA BERNAL (Ecuador) is anthropologist and researcher on indigenous<br />

peoples, education and women issues.<br />

MICHAEL BRIE (Germany) is a philosopher and the Director of the Institute<br />

for Social Analysis of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. He taught<br />

social philosophy at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He is currently a<br />

member of the scientific council of Attac.<br />

BIRGIT DAIBER (Brussels) is a former Member of the European Parliament;<br />

she was Head of the Brussels Office of the Rosa Luxemburg<br />

Foundation until 2012, coordinating various projects on international Left<br />

cooperation strategies. She is currently working as political analyst and<br />

consultant for socio-ecological cooperation projects.<br />

GIAN CARLO DELGADO RAMOS (Mexico) is an economista and Ph.D.<br />

in Environmental science, he is also a researcher at the Centre of interdisciplinary<br />

Studies and Humanities of the National University of mexico<br />

(UNAM). He won the National University Prize for young researchers in<br />

2011.<br />

EDUARDO ESTÉVEZ MARTÍN is a former deputy secretary of the World<br />

Confederation of Labour (WCL), he is a council member of several workers’<br />

organisations in Latin America, like CSA/CSI, CTA, Argentina, CGT,<br />

Colombia.<br />
