Postpaid Christmas Promotion FAQ’s & T’s & C’s
1. What is the Postpaid Christmas Promotion about
The Postpaid Christmas promotion gives all new postpaid customers a free
handset with the activation of any of our selected Digicel postpaid packages
during the promotional period.
2. What is the promotion period
Start Date: Friday November 20 th
Start End Date: Saturday January 2 nd
3. Who can participate in promotion
The promotion is for new and existing customers who sign up for a new DigiSelect
1000, DigiSelect 2000, DigiSelect 3000 or DigiSelect 5500 postpaid package.
4. How does the Promotion Work
Customers can sign up for one of our postpaid packages at selected Digicel stores as
follows:
o Digicel Select 1000 - Samsung E2210, Nokia E63, Nokia 5130
o Digicel Select 2000 - Samsung E2210, Nokia E63, Nokia 5130
o Digicel Select 3000 - Samsung E2210, Nokia E63, Nokia 5130,
Blackberry Curve 8900
o Digicel Select 5500 - Samsung E2210, Nokia E63, Nokia 5130,
Blackberry Curve 8900
If however the customer signs up for the Digicel Select 3000 or 5500 plan the
customer will receive a

5. What is needed to become a DigiSelect customer
Minimum deposit
Completed application form
Valid id (Drivers License, Passport, National ID)
2 Utility bills (to show proof of address)
TRN
Alternative contact information (name of relative not living with customer, contact
number and address)

8. Is the customer eligible for the promotion if he/she is a prepaid customer
Existing prepaid customers are eligible for the promotion in one of 2 instances:

1. Signing up for new Digicel postpaid service offered in the promotion and
getting a new number.
2. Converting from prepaid to postpaid during the promotional period

10. What happens if the customer opts out of the contract before the contract period ends
If a customer chooses to terminate the service before the 24 months contract
period ends he/she will not be refunded the deposit for the handset.
11. What happpens to the deposit that the customer paid for the handset after the 24 months
mandatory contract period
Once the customer keeps the service active for the duration of the 24 months
contract period the deposit for the handset will refunded as a payment on the
customer’s bill.
12. Is the Digicel Free Nights and weekend be activated upon purchase
No, this is not offered in the promotion
If customer wishes to activate Free Nights and Weekend Plan he/she may dial the
code *138#. The customer will be charged the monthly subscription of $350 per
month.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE DIGICEL ‘Postpaid’ Promotion
1. The ‘Postpaid Promotion, ‘the Promotion’, is available to all new Digicel postpaid customers
(‘Customers’)
2. The Promotion begins on Friday 20 November 2009 and will continue until 2 January 2010 or
while stocks last or until such other date that Digicel will determine.
3. During the Promotion Period, all Customers that sign up for one of the postpaid plans listed
below for the length of contract shown below will be eligible to receive the listed handsets t
no extra cost, i.e. FREE.

4. Customers can sign up for the Promotion at selected Digicel stores, subject to stock
availability.
5. Customers who sign up will be bound by the Digicel Select terms and conditions.
6. Digicel reserves the right to at any time vary the terms of the Promotion, to amend its Terms
and Conditions, or to withdraw the Promotion. In any of these events notice will be given via
media advertisements or messages to subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of
the date referred to in such notifications.
