<strong>Clare</strong> <strong>County</strong> Council, the Heritage Council and <strong>Clare</strong> Heritage Forum wish to thank all the individuals<br />
and community groups who are taking part and facilitating events during Heritage Week in <strong>Clare</strong> in<br />
2013. Particularly to acknowledge the great work done by individuals and groups with an interest in<br />
all aspects of Heritage in the <strong>County</strong>.<br />
Heritage Week is co-ordinated by the Heritage Council with support from the Department of Arts,<br />
Heritage & the Gaeltacht & Fáilte Ireland. It is part of European Heritage Days, a joint initiative of the<br />
Council of Europe & the European Union.<br />
The aim of Heritage Week is to build awareness of our built, natural & cultural heritage thereby<br />
encouraging its conservation and preservation.<br />
