best golfers in the world at the 84 Lumber Classic. The likes of

MYSTIC ROCK (Dates of Operation: 4/6/07 - 11/4/07)
The dreams of resort founder Joe Hardy and the vision of
design master Pete Dye resulted in one of the country’s fi nest
courses. Literally moving mountains, Dye designed this course
with particular attention to the environment and incorporated
the large boulders unearthed during construction. High atop the
Alleghenies, Mystic Rock spans acres of scenic highlands, offering
players championship golf in a spectacular setting. Recent
renovations, including rebuilding all 18 greens and narrowing
fairways, have earned Mystic Rock a course rating of 78.3 and a
slope of 153 from the championship tees.
Former home to the 84 Lumber Classic, a PGA TOUR event,
Mystic Rock has played host to the top professional players in the
world, including Tiger Woods, John Daly and Vijay Singh. Mystic
Rock is ranked in the Top 25 Resort Courses by Golf Digest.

THE LINKS (Dates of Operation: 3/30/07 - 11/11/07)
A traditional design with a fl air for the dramatic, The Links course
offers its own test of golf. Elevation changes provide some of the
most picturesque views on the property, while undulating greens
demand both patience and precision with the putter. The par 70
layout is a fun, fair test of golfi ng skills.

While the caddie business has no industry
standards or formal training schools,
Caddiemaster has been developing its own
since 1993. Those who manage to complete
the program have a thorough understanding of
core caddie competencies and golf etiquette. Headquartered in
Pinehurst, North Carolina, Caddiemaster is the world’s leading
provider of caddie services. The top golf destinations in the
world partner with Caddiemaster because they elevate the
entire golf experience. It was for this reason that Nemacolin
Woodlands Resort brought the Caddiemaster program to Mystic
Rock, former home of the 84 Lumber Classic, a PGA TOUR
event. When golfers step onto Nemacolin Woodlands’ Mystic
Rock golf course designed by Pete Dye, Caddiemaster’s expert
forecaddies insure a top-quality playing experience and reduce
pace of play each round.
PRACTICE AREAS
Our John Daly Practice Center, which opened in April 2005,
includes 6,000 square-feet of bent grass tees, as well as 27,000
square feet of chipping and putting greens. Three bunkers allow
guests to work on sand saves and seven strategically located
target greens give players the opportunity to practice fades as
well as draws. Whether you are struggling with shots out of the
rough or intimidated by uphill lies, you will fi nd the perfect spot
to perfect every shot in your game.

These elegant surroundings are the perfect showcase for topname
golf apparel and the latest in equipment. Shop for all your

Visit the Custom Club Fitting Center at The Links to fi nd the
perfect equipment for your game. The latest clubs from Nike ® ,
Titleist ® , Cobra ® , Callaway ® , TaylorMade ® , Ping ® and Cleveland ®
are available. You will also fi nd a large selection of golf apparel for
men and women featuring the fi nest designers.

Dress Code
Appropriate golf attire is required – shirts with collars and sleeves,
slacks or golf shorts and golf shoes (no sneakers). Tank tops, t-
shirts, fi sh net tops, cut off shorts, sweat pants, jeans, bathing suits,
tennis shorts, or other athletic shorts are not permitted. Dress
code policies apply to practice facility as well.

DAVID LEADBETTER GOLF ACADEMY
The David Leadbetter Golf Academy, recognized as the world
leader in golf instruction, has established a permanent academy
site at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. The David Leadbetter
Golf Academy will hold classes May through September offering
a variety of programs including one, two, and three day schools
and private instruction for every level of golfer.
This 3,000 square-foot facility features four hitting bays equipped
with the latest electronic and video technology, an indoor
classroom for 20 students, and an indoor short game area
including putting greens, a chipping area, and green-side bunker
shots. In addition, the center offers club repair, club fi tting and
product analysis.
Mystic Rock, Hole #17 – This beautiful par 3 is not for the faintof-heart.
Coming down the stretch, it provides an excellent test
at a critical time in the round.

Mystic Rock, Hole #11 – This beautifully designed par 5 is a
classic risk and reward hole. At 634 yards it requires both length
and accuracy. As you approach the green you’ll be amazed by
“the picture frame”, one of the many unique pieces of the Hardy
Family Art Collection.

The Links, Hole #12 – Club selection is critical on this short
par 4 that measures 345 from the white tees. Long hitters will
attempt to reach this green but more birdies are made by laying
up and having a short iron into this tricky green.

2007 Western Pennsylvania Open July 9 & 10
Top amateurs and professionals from Western Pennsylvania
compete on Mystic Rock to determine the best player in the
region.
2007 Falling Rock Classic July 30 & 31
The most lucrative PGA Sectional event in the country, the
Falling Rock Classic brings an elite fi eld of 65 club professionals
to Nemacolin’s Mystic Rock course, all vying for a share of the
$175,000 purse.
2007 USGA Senior Amateur Championship Qualifier
August 9
A sanctioned qualifying event for the USGA Senior Amateur
Championship in September, golfers age 55 and older compete
on Mystic Rock for the chance to advance to the fi nals.
2007 Fayette County Open August 11 & 12
Local professionals and amateurs in Fayette County, PA compete
on both the Links and Mystic Rock courses to determine the
best player in the county.
2007 Potomac Cup August 24, 25 & 26
This amateur event pitting Team Maryland against Team Virginia
features fi ve rounds on Mystic Rock in a Ryder Cup-style
competition. The winning team takes the coveted Potomac Cup
and bragging rights.
