This course introduces an overview <strong>of</strong> chemistry and classification <strong>of</strong> bioactive materials,<br />

macromolecular targets in medicinal chemistry, genomic studies in drug design, genomics,<br />

proteomics, chemoinformatic, pharmacogenomics, and applications <strong>of</strong> genomics in drug design,<br />

bioorganic chemistry, and synthesis <strong>of</strong> peptides, oligonucteotides, nucleosides, nucleic acids and<br />

enzymatic reagents.<br />

Stereoisomerism and physicochemical and structural properties <strong>of</strong> stereoisomers. Stereoisomerism<br />

<strong>of</strong> drug active material and the behavior <strong>of</strong> stereoisomers in biological conditions and their activity<br />

differences. The discussion <strong>of</strong> pharmacological, toxicological, pharmacokinetic and<br />

pharmacoeconomic results <strong>of</strong> different biological answers based on these differences.<br />

bioavailability and bioequivalence, oral bioavailability <strong>of</strong> drugs, physicochemical parameters, analysis<br />

<strong>of</strong> body fluids, evaluation <strong>of</strong> bioanalytical methods and validation.<br />
