25 Noun Plurals<br />

The plural of a noun is usually made by ad<strong>di</strong>ng -s to the singular noun:<br />

If the noun ends in -s, -ch, -o, -sh, -x, -es is added:<br />

class --- classes church --- churches<br />

Many foreign words en<strong>di</strong>ng in -o have plurals in either -s or -es:<br />
