Red imported fire ants (Solenopsis invicta) are pests of urban,
agricultural and wildlife areas and can pose a serious health

Controlling Fleas in the 21 st Century

Over the past ten years, many pest management professionals
have experienced a reduction in the number of flea jobs
being performed. Many attribute this to the effectiveness
of veterinarians prescribing over the counter flea and tick
treatments for pets. Recently, professionals have encountered
more and more flea infestations. This session will provide insight
into the re-emergence of this pest as well as an update on how
flea biology and behavior is closely linked to the successful
control if this time-honored foe.

termiticide needed for a conventional termite application, you
have to do some math. This session is a must for both new and
