Amela Mehic 

My name is Amela Mehic I was born 19 th of 

June 1987 in Zavidovici. 

I finished primary and grammar school in Zavidovici 

with excellent marks. During that time I 

lived with my mother. Due to the availability of 

courses I was forced to move to Zenica to study 

English language. In Zenica I have to pay rent 

and other things. 

I find it very difficult to study and work. 

I also learn German and Italian language and 

I am active in NGO organization “Child and 

Mother“. 

In order to continue styding I need to pay my 

basic expenses every month.

Katarina Levanda 

My name is Katarina Levanda. I was born on 27 October 1984. 

I live in Zavidovici. 

During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I stayed in my home as 

I could not leave. From 1995 to 1998, I finished Primary school in 

Zavidovici. I finished High school of Economy in Zepce. Since 2003 I 

am studying economy at the University of Economy in Zenica. 

I am on a final year. I speak English and German, and I am interested 

in music. 

My hobby is singing in church choir. I also enjoy reading and making 

web-pages. I would like to further educate myself. I am active in 

organisations such as „Child and Mother“ and „Smile“ from Zepce. It 

is difficult for me to find enough money for my education. 

Because of that, I would like to express my deep appreciation for your
