FLOW CHART C – SUSPENSION PROCESS (<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> TSC Disciplinary Policy & Procedure)<br />

The TSC or Authorised Person determines <strong>the</strong> alleged <strong>disciplinary</strong> breach is sufficiently serious to warrant<br />

suspension <strong>of</strong> a teacher<br />

Authorised Person completes a<br />

“Notice <strong>of</strong> Suspension where a<br />

Member is Charged with a Criminal<br />

Offence” <strong>for</strong>m (Form 19)<br />

Authorised Person serves <strong>the</strong> notice <strong>of</strong><br />

suspension on <strong>the</strong> teacher (or <strong>the</strong> head<br />

teacher or site leader in <strong>the</strong> teacher’s<br />

absence) – (TSC Form 19).<br />

Authorised Person <strong>for</strong>wards <strong>the</strong><br />

appropriately signed <strong>and</strong> completed<br />

notice to TSC. TSC hold <strong>the</strong> notice<br />

pending <strong>the</strong> outcome <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

investigation.<br />

TSC also <strong>for</strong>ward a copy to PARS as<br />

<strong>the</strong> authority to suspend <strong>the</strong> teacher’s<br />

pay<br />
