<strong>Geoinformatics</strong> <strong>Announces</strong> <strong>Appointment</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Directors</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Officers</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

the Results <strong>of</strong> its Annual <strong>and</strong> Special Meeting <strong>of</strong> Shareholders<br />

Toronto, Ontario - <strong>Geoinformatics</strong> Exploration Inc (TSXV: GXL) (“<strong>Geoinformatics</strong>” or<br />

the “Company”) is pleased to announce the addition <strong>of</strong> Mr. Leon Raubenheimer <strong>and</strong> Mr.<br />

Neil MacLachlan to its Board <strong>of</strong> <strong>Directors</strong> following the Company’s 2005 Annual <strong>and</strong><br />

Special Meeting <strong>of</strong> Shareholders held on June 14, 2005 at the TSX Broadcast Centre. All<br />

resolutions presented to shareholders at the meeting were approved.<br />

<strong>Geoinformatics</strong> is also pleased to announce the confirmation <strong>of</strong> Mr. Mark Stewart <strong>and</strong><br />

Mr. Darren Holden to the roles <strong>of</strong> Vice-President, Corporate Development <strong>and</strong> Vice-<br />

President, Geosciences, respectively. Mr. Stewart is a lawyer by background who joined<br />

the Company in 2003 to oversee the corporate development <strong>and</strong> has been instrumental in<br />

negotiating <strong>and</strong> finalizing alliance agreements <strong>and</strong> l<strong>and</strong> positions. Mr. Holden is a<br />

geologist who has been with <strong>Geoinformatics</strong> for eight years <strong>and</strong> is responsible for<br />

managing the geoscience group.<br />

The Board <strong>of</strong> <strong>Directors</strong> has also appointed Mr. Kevin Snook to the Board following the<br />

termination <strong>of</strong> the shareholder meeting. Mr. Snook brings with him a solid financial<br />

background <strong>and</strong> extensive resource experience. He will assume the role <strong>of</strong> Chairman <strong>of</strong><br />

the Audit Committee.<br />
