be transformed into methyl mercury, which is<br />
water-soluble and thus released back into water.<br />
• Methyl mercury taken by Aquatic organizm can<br />
accumulate inside the organizm and concentrate<br />
along the food-chain. Fish contaminated by<br />
mercury has an inside concentration of mercury<br />
over 100 times higher than the outside<br />
concentration of mercury in the water.
