From the President
Hello to all Dakota Wesleyan
University students, athletes,
faculty, staff, alumni, fans, families
and friends, and welcome to
another exciting season of Tiger
athletics. Our sports teams and
student-athletes are an essential
part of the DWU family, and Dakota
Wesleyan sincerely appreciates
your devoted support.
We enter the 2011-12 academic
year with high hopes that this will
be an unforgettable year on the
DWU campus, both academically
and athletically. This year, we
renew our commitment to
academic excellence and student
engagement, and we look forward
to an exciting future. Throughout
our history, athletics have been an
important part of Wesleyan, and
that tradition continues as we
anticipate success for our teams
on the field, court, course and
track, as well as in the classroom.
Whether with your presence at
athletic events or through your
monetary contributions, your
support of our school, students,
athletes, coaches and teams is
greatly appreciated. The Dakota
Wesleyan University family has
never been stronger, and for that,

Hello and welcome to the start of
another great season of Dakota
Wesleyan University athletics.
There has never been a better time
to be a DWU Tiger than right now.
We have an excellent group of
coaches in place who have their
goals set high and are committed
to taking their programs to new
heights in 2011-12 and beyond.
We have a first-rate group of
student-athletes who proudly
represent Dakota Wesleyan’s
values, and our athletic staff is
committed to helping our teams
excel.
Much of our success wouldn’t be
possible without the contributions
of the DWU TeamMakers booster
club and the DWU athletic
corporate sponsors. These
partnerships allow our coaches to
recruit the best possible studentathletes.
Both groups are
extremely dedicated to helping
provide a positive experience for
our student-athletes. I’d like to offer
a special thank you to the
TeamMakers and corporate
sponsors for your roles in Tiger
athletics.
Whatever your connection to DWU,
we’d like to invite you to be a part of
the Tiger athletic family as we
continue our journey to reach new
levels in both the NAIA and the
Great Plains Athletic Conference.
