Make a playlist<br />

Create playlists for any occasion<br />

No album is perfect and it is likely that you<br />

will have a selection of songs that mean<br />

a lot to you and a group of songs that are<br />

perfect for a specific occasion. It is also likely<br />

that there are some songs that you play many<br />

more times than those in the rest of your<br />

collection and so it makes sense to try to keep<br />

them all together in one place for playing<br />

when you feel like gaining some musical<br />

inspiration. Add to this the fact that we all<br />

have different moods at different times so a<br />

set of songs that you love may not suit when<br />

you feel like dancing for example.<br />

Playlists are the perfect way to create<br />

multiple groups of music tracks that you can<br />

play when you feel like listening to a particular<br />

set of songs whatever the occasion or mood.<br />

You can title them for quick reference and<br />

add and remove tracks from lists whenever<br />

you want to. We will show you how to create<br />

playlists and how to tweak them for your<br />

needs. As with everything if you spend some<br />

time carefully curating the music you want,<br />

the feature will be hugely beneficial to you.<br />

Build a moment Music to suit your mood at any time<br />

1: A simple option<br />

In the standard Music app you will see a set<br />

of icons at the top which are always available<br />

to you. Look for the Playlists icon and tap it to<br />

proceed. You do not need to touch the menu<br />

key and this key will be used for accessing<br />

your created lists.<br />

2: Automatic playlists<br />

When you tap the icon you will see that some<br />

playlists are automatically built already. They<br />

will have been created from your most played<br />

tracks and from those tracks that you have<br />

recently added, and will likely play more than<br />

the tracks you have owned for some time.<br />

3: Name your playlist<br />

Press the menu key and then choose Create<br />

playlist from the options presented. A new<br />

dialogue will appear asking you to give your<br />

new playlist a name. Do this and then tap OK.<br />

At this point another screen appears with an<br />

option to add music at the top.<br />

4: Add some songs<br />

A listing of installed tracks will appear with tick<br />

boxes next to each of them. Tick the songs<br />

that you want to include in your playlist and<br />

then tap Done at the top. You can also tap<br />

Select all at the top, but this will add every<br />

single track.<br />

5: Edit your playlist<br />

When viewing your created playlist, you can<br />

press the menu key and you will see options<br />

to Add and Remove tracks which are obvious,<br />

plus you can also share your playlists in<br />

various ways. You can even change the track<br />

order and rename the playlist here.<br />
