CENTAX ® -B
The well proven CENTAX-Series B is a clever combination
of the flexible CENTAX-element with a simple, stiff pin
and bush coupling. It is applied for all kinds of main- and
auxiliary drives, especially on gensets. CENTAX-elements
are of high torsional elasticity, high radial elasticity and
moderate angular elasticity. The torsionally stiff pin and
bush coupling allows substantial movement in axial
direction. For flanged drives the coupling may be plugged
in axially. On free standing drives the units maybe
mounted axially or radially and the rubber element can
be exchanged radially without disturbance of the coupled
units. A simple, robust and competetive torsionally
flexible coupling to fulfill the requirements of all kinds of
applications.
The CENTAX-B-couplings have the following features:
• Medium to high torsional flexibility, according to the
shorehardness and number of rubber elements

• The coupling can slide axially and adjust on the bushes,
therefore substantial axial misalignment is acceptable

Die bewährte CENTAX-Baureihe B ist eine geschickte
Kombination der elastischen CENTAX-Elemente mit einer
einfachen, steifen Bolzenkupplung. Sie wird für alle Arten
von Haupt- und Nebenantrieben eingesetzt, insbesondere
für Generatoren. Die CENTAX-Elemente ergeben
hohe Drehelastizität, hohe radiale Elastizität sowie mäßige
winkelige Elastizität. Die drehsteife Bolzenkupplung
erlaubt beträchtliche Bewegungen in axialer Richtung.
Bei geflanschten Anlagen kann die Kupplung axial zusammengesteckt
werden. Bei freistehenden Anlagen können
die Aggregate sowohl waagerecht als auch senkrecht
eingebracht werden und das Gummielement kann ohne
Verschieben der Aggregate radial ausgetauscht werden.

Die CENTAX-B-Kupplungen zeichnen sich durch folgende
