media and advertising, publications and collateral, 

sponsorships and client entertainment. 

We work together to support client, 

industry and legal practice groups across 

our integrated office network.

We work with partners and lawyers to prepare 

successful proposal documents to secure new work 

and client relationships for the firm. We design, 

plan and coordinate creative client events and 

sponsorship initiatives. We produce and distribute 

a wide range of marketing collateral and thought

the development and roll out of a new Client 

Relationship Management system.

is unique amongst professional services firms – it is possibly 

the only one that incorporates interstate secondments into 

the program. 

We want our graduates to experience as much of the firm 

as possible, across industries and practice groups as well as 

offices, in order to develop a thorough understanding of 

how the firm and our partners operate. 

Graduates can apply their understanding to provide quality 

service to internal and external stakeholders, and help our 

lawyers implement strategic business plans that support 

the firm’s business objectives.”

The two year program commences late January 

– early February each year. 

There may be opportunities to work in other 

offices (Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth 

and Sydney) during the program.

Rotations 

Graduates will complete up to four rotations of six 

months supporting specific practice areas and industry 

groups. The practice group rotation program provides 

the opportunity to learn about and experience multiple 

areas of business development, and enables the 

graduates to meet the wider team.

Learning opportunities don’t stop at the end of 

the Graduate Program. Throughout your career with 

Minter Ellison, you will have access to programs that are 

specifically designed to help you grow and succeed.

“The Communications team is responsible for 

protecting and enhancing Minter Ellison’s brand. 

We do this by producing and distributing targeted 

client communications, newsletters, publications 

and marketing collateral, media relations and 

advertising, issues management, design and 

production, and by managing the firm website. 

We also coordinate internal communications to 

support the brand within the firm, including the 

intranet home page, weekly staff newsletter and 

management road shows. 

Graduates play a hands on role helping to produce 

a wide range of communications materials and in 

doing so gain broad exposure to all practice and 

industry groups, and work with lawyers and BD 

colleagues in all Minter Ellison offices.”

in summer. I like spending weekends with friends out on
