3 Former border<br />

guard station<br />

Two buildings that were formerly used as a<br />

border guard station for the Yugoslavian<br />

guards. Now used to house a small<br />

museum for First World War history in<br />

the area (could not be accessed). In front of<br />

the buildings a basketball court and several<br />

memorial stones commemorating the First<br />

World War.<br />

4 Trench system A series of trenches created and used<br />

during the First World War.<br />

5 Bunker/hut 1 Square structure located just inside<br />

Slovenian territory. Constructed of red<br />

bricks with cement bonding and covered<br />

in white plaster.<br />

6 Dual paths Two paths running parallel on either<br />

side of the border almost the entire<br />

length of the ridge of the mountain. In<br />

some places the two paths have merged<br />

into one broad path.<br />

As along the entire border there are<br />

white border stones also here. As the<br />

border follows the ridge and changes<br />

directions often the stones are<br />

particularly frequent here.<br />
