unusual questions that occur so that others can learn from their experiences. The best
ones (unusual or just plain odd) will be printed here.

question will be answered by a Master Judge and the Rules Chairman. If there is any
disagreement, it will be submitted to the Rules Committee and MAC for final resolution.

Q - Is is OK to set up two keyholes in an open arena and alternate riders back from
one to the other.
A - No, you are only allowed to have one event set up at a time in the arena.
Sometimes an event is set up in two different arenas (or in an arena split with
delineators and caution tape) - if two courses are being used, it is customary to
assign riders by division to the different courses. For example, at state show when
there are multiple arenas with the same event, one arena will start with open pony,
move to AAA+ and then AAA; the other arena will start AA, move on to A and
complete with Future Champion.
Q - If an animal measures over 54" and does not qualify as a CGA pony, is there a
waiting period before for the animal can be measured again.
A - No, the rule states that a pony may only be measured once per measuring
session.

CGA is actively looking for sponsors for the 2010 State Final Match
Races. The sponsor fee is $150.00. Sponsorship monies can come
from a District, an Individual or a Business. There are 13 events. The
event sponsored will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. The
$150.00 fee covers the cash award to the Match Race Champion and
the Belt buckle. If you or someone you know would be willing to
sponsor please contact the CGA State office by calling
(831) 623-9026.
The sponsorship fees may be tax deductible as an advertising
expense, however CGA recommends that you consult your local tax
person.
