Sunday was a day show and we started at the usual 8:00a.m. sign up time. But of
course we were all tired from the night before and some of us had to do paperwork
when we got home so we were a little bleary eyed and tired by Sunday morning. The
weather still cooperated and it was a beautiful day for a show. 28 riders came back for
day 2 of the Silverado Buckle Series.
The hot runs all happened on Sat. because while we had quite a few AAA+ rides there
weren’t any Supreme and no more arena records broken on Sunday.
DISTRICT 8
TRI-COUNTY RIDERS - SALINAS AREA
By: District Board
Hello Riders!
By the time you’re reading this you’re seriously getting ready to head out to State
Show and the 5th Annual Firecracker Frenzy will be in the record books.
It’s a time for reflection on how much we appreciate CGA and it’s members. Each and
every rider and their families are so very special in their own right and we can’t thank
them enough for continuing to support the local districts and the greater organization.
We are constantly amazed by the number of people who make their way down or up to
Salinas every 4th of July weekend to participate in our Firecracker Frenzy.
