Rules for 2013 <strong>State</strong> <strong>Show</strong> Finals<br />

1. All CGA Rules and Regulations as written in the most recent version of the<br />

CGA Rule Book and CGA Information / Regulation Manuals will apply at this<br />

show. DECISIONS MADE BY SHOW MANAGEMENT OR JUDGES ARE<br />

FINAL.<br />

2. Management Reserves The Right To Make Changes To The Schedule If Necessary.<br />

Any changes will be announced and will be posted at the <strong>State</strong> <strong>Show</strong> Office.<br />

3. Conduct<br />

Unsportsmanlike conduct by contestants, parents, friends, or relatives will result<br />

in disqualification of the contestant from the show and dismissal from the show<br />

grounds. Each contestant is advised to discuss this rule with his/her family prior to<br />

arriving on the <strong>Show</strong> grounds. All children must be under a parent or guardians supervision<br />

while on the show grounds. Mischievous conduct by children may result in the<br />

dismissal from the grounds and or the show without a refund. NOTE: Misuse of<br />

alcohol or any illegal substance will be considered grounds for dismissal from<br />

the show and grounds.<br />

4. NO Horses or Ponies are permitted (FOR ANY REASON) on the lawn/camping<br />

area. This includes any area where the roadway is blocked and "No Horses Allowed"<br />

signs are posted. Failure to follow this rule may result in dismissal from the<br />

grounds.<br />

5. Horses are not to be tied to any object that is not designed as a hitching rail or<br />

post. Water faucets, door handles, wood or chain link fences are not designed and not<br />

to be used as a tie for your horse.<br />

6. At no time are horses or ponies to be raced on the grounds, except in CGA<br />

approved events, (Match Races). The perimeter track is a WARM UP AREA - NOT<br />

TO BE USED TO RACE YOUR ANIMAL.<br />

7. RIDING DOUBLE IS NOT ALLOWED, except in the Rescue Race event.<br />

Practice time for rescue race may be set aside prior to the event, in a specified area and<br />

only at a walk or trot.<br />
