SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT<br />
1. TENDER DOCUMENTS<br />
1.1 The goods and services required, bidd<strong>in</strong>g procedure and contract terms are<br />
prescribed <strong>in</strong> the tender documents. Bid documents can be obta<strong>in</strong>ed from 11.5.12<br />
to 30.5.12 from 10.30 Hrs. to 16.00 Hrs. on every work<strong>in</strong>g day and upto 12.00 hrs<br />
on 31.5.2012 <strong>in</strong> the office of Dy CSTE/Project/IRPMU, Near Jhakarkatti bus stand,<br />
N.C. Railway, Kanpur, after deposit<strong>in</strong>g Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousands only)<br />
<strong>in</strong> the form of Demand draft/ Pay Order/Deposit Receipt made <strong>in</strong> favour of FA &<br />
CAO, IRPMU, New Delhi. The attention of tenderer is <strong>in</strong>vited to the follow<strong>in</strong>g<br />

General Conditions of Contract (G.C.C.) as amended by advance correction slips<br />
issued up to-date and IRS conditions of contract for the stores department with<br />
up to date modification (CCSS) can be obta<strong>in</strong>ed, if need be, from the office of<br />
the CAO/IRPMU/New Delhi after pay<strong>in</strong>g the cost prescribed for it <strong>in</strong> the form of<br />
Bank Draft <strong>in</strong> favour of FA&CAO/IRPMU, New Delhi.<br />
1.2 If the Tender submitted by a tenderer is accepted and the contract awarded to the<br />
Tenderer, the various works com<strong>in</strong>g under purview of the contract shall be<br />
<strong>gov</strong>erned by tender documents mentioned above. Where there is any conflict<br />
between the <strong>in</strong>structions to tenderers and conditions of tender<strong>in</strong>g and special<br />
conditions of contract, Tender forms, annexures etc. on one hand and General<br />
Conditions of Contract on the other, the former shall prevail.<br />
1.3 Any Special conditions stated by the Tenderer <strong>in</strong> the cover<strong>in</strong>g letter submitted<br />
along with the tender shall be deemed to be a part of the Contract to such extent<br />
only, as have been explicitly accepted by the Railway.<br />
