ii) The contractor will arrange tra<strong>in</strong>ed personnel to carry out the wir<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>side the Station<br />
Relay room.<br />
iii) Any wir<strong>in</strong>g alteration should be carried out by the contractor under supervision of railway<br />
personnel only.<br />
iv) The contractor should arrange the required T&P to work on the Electronic <strong>in</strong>terlock<strong>in</strong>g,<br />
other equipment.<br />
v) The wir<strong>in</strong>g should be carried out strictly <strong>in</strong> accordance with ‘Wir<strong>in</strong>g copy’ <strong>in</strong> Red and<br />
Green, as approved by IRPMU.<br />
Test<strong>in</strong>g & Commission<strong>in</strong>g<br />
i) The FAT set up for test<strong>in</strong>g the application data and VDU database will be provided by the<br />
contractor at his premises. The FAT will be carried out by contractor’s tra<strong>in</strong>ed manpower<br />
<strong>in</strong> the presence of railway personnel. The contractor will make good any design deficiency<br />
as revealed <strong>in</strong> the FAT. After removal of all design deficiencies, and successful<br />
completion of FAT, IRPMU officials will approve the FAT by issu<strong>in</strong>g FAT certificate.<br />
ii) The contractor will be responsible for provid<strong>in</strong>g all set up for conduct<strong>in</strong>g SAT. The tra<strong>in</strong>ed<br />
manpower for carry<strong>in</strong>g out SAT will be provided by the contractor. The SAT will be<br />
carried out <strong>in</strong> the presence of railway personnel. The contractor will make good any<br />
design deficiency or Indoor <strong>in</strong>stallation defect as revealed <strong>in</strong> the FAT. After removal of all<br />
design deficiencies, and successful completion of SAT, IRPMU officials will approve the<br />
SAT by issu<strong>in</strong>g SAT certificate.<br />
iii) The contractor will provide sufficient tra<strong>in</strong>ed manpower to ensure smooth commission<strong>in</strong>g<br />
dur<strong>in</strong>g limited block period, without affect<strong>in</strong>g the traffic. Dur<strong>in</strong>g commission<strong>in</strong>g, the<br />
contractor should also keep his design team ready <strong>in</strong> the office to provide design changes,<br />
if required by the site personnel.<br />
iv) Post commission<strong>in</strong>g, the system will be under <strong>in</strong>tensive supervision of railway personnel.<br />
Dur<strong>in</strong>g this period, the contractor should also arrange to keep his tra<strong>in</strong>ed staff at site for<br />
provid<strong>in</strong>g all assistance to meet any eventuality.<br />
2.3.4 As Built draw<strong>in</strong>gs<br />
i) A copy of the ‘Test<strong>in</strong>g copy’ will be made and sent by the contractor to its design<br />
department for updat<strong>in</strong>g. The orig<strong>in</strong>al trac<strong>in</strong>g will be corrected to reflect the<br />
commission<strong>in</strong>g changes and signed off.<br />
ii) Orig<strong>in</strong>al trac<strong>in</strong>g along with 6 sets of hard copy (and soft copy <strong>in</strong> CD) of only affected<br />
sheets of the Application logic, Interface diagrams, relay room circuits will be supplied<br />
by the contractor as part of ‘As built’ documents.<br />
2.3.5 Supply of material<br />
Sch-C:<br />
i) Supply to be made as per quantity specified <strong>in</strong> the schedule. Railway reserves the right to<br />
<strong>in</strong>crease the quantity, if required to complete the work.<br />
ii) Consumable items to be procured from reputed supplier such as Polycab, Dalton, L&T,<br />
Havells etc., prior approval of which should be taken before supply<strong>in</strong>g from field Dy<br />
CSTE.<br />
iii) Item no. 35 <strong>in</strong>cludes supply of I/O cable, Address select PCB,48/96 p<strong>in</strong> connector hous<strong>in</strong>g<br />
