2.3.2 Sch. B Design<br />

Modification of exist<strong>in</strong>g design/software, application Logic, <strong>in</strong>terface diagrams, exist<strong>in</strong>g relay<br />

room circuit diagrams, LCP (VDU) diagram of stations as per approved SIP and selection table<br />

approved by railways and as per guidel<strong>in</strong>es given <strong>in</strong> ‘Section III Chapter I – Technical and<br />

Operation guidel<strong>in</strong>es’.<br />

i) Submissions for approval as per procedure below:<br />

a) All the above tentative draw<strong>in</strong>gs (Red and Green copies) <strong>in</strong> 2 sets will be submitted at<br />

IRPMU HQs for approval.<br />

b) IRPMU will return one copy after correction and reta<strong>in</strong> one copy for their records.<br />

c) After correction, the contractor will issue 2 sets of corrected Red and Green copy of<br />

only affected sheets.<br />

d) Steps 2 & 3 will repeat till the draw<strong>in</strong>gs are approved by IRPMU/HQs.<br />

e) After the draw<strong>in</strong>gs are approved, the f<strong>in</strong>al Red & Green copy and a Master copy<br />

prepared from red copy will be signed at IRPMU/HQs.<br />

ii) Distribution of approved copies<br />

a) The Master copy of Application Logic, Interface diagram, exist<strong>in</strong>g relay room circuit<br />

diagrams, VDU diagrams etc. will be submitted <strong>in</strong> IRPMU/HQs.<br />

b) The true copy of ‘Red and Green copy’ Interface diagrams, exist<strong>in</strong>g relay room circuits<br />

will be prepared as under:<br />

- One copy for IRPMU Field staff.<br />

- One copy for contractor’s field staff for wir<strong>in</strong>g marked ‘Construction copy’.<br />

c) Copies will be prepared out of Master copy of Interface diagrams, exist<strong>in</strong>g relay room<br />

circuit diagrams and sent one each to Dy CSTE/IRPMU (Field) and to Contractor’s<br />

field representative marked ‘Test<strong>in</strong>g copy’.<br />

iii) The Test<strong>in</strong>g copy will be signed by IRPMU and Contractor’s representative after<br />

carry<strong>in</strong>g out the Bell test, before and after commission<strong>in</strong>g. It will be handed over by the<br />

contractor <strong>in</strong> Dy CSTE/IRPMU (Field) office.<br />

Note:- If tenderer is not OEM than tenderer has to submit MOU with OEM for do<strong>in</strong>g<br />

alteration <strong>in</strong> Electronic <strong>in</strong>terlock<strong>in</strong>g. Non submission of MOU with OEM will led<br />

to cancellation of offer.<br />

2.3.3 Sch-B: Installation, wir<strong>in</strong>g, test<strong>in</strong>g and commission<strong>in</strong>g of alterations<br />

i) Indoor Installation at Station will <strong>in</strong>volve<br />

a) Fix<strong>in</strong>g of relays, phoenix term<strong>in</strong>als, fuses etc. <strong>in</strong> the relay room and wir<strong>in</strong>g from phoenix<br />

tw<strong>in</strong> term<strong>in</strong>als to relays and relays to CT rack etc.<br />

b) Installation and wir<strong>in</strong>g of I/O cards with all accessories (wherever required). Wir<strong>in</strong>g will<br />

<strong>in</strong>clude wir<strong>in</strong>g from MLK/Westrace to tw<strong>in</strong> term<strong>in</strong>als.<br />

c) Fix<strong>in</strong>g and wir<strong>in</strong>g of rotary switches <strong>in</strong> ASM room for chang<strong>in</strong>g to modified auto block<br />

signall<strong>in</strong>g dur<strong>in</strong>g Foggy weather if required by railways.<br />

d) Software load<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Electronic <strong>in</strong>terlock<strong>in</strong>g and VDU<br />

e) Alterations <strong>in</strong> operat<strong>in</strong>g cum <strong>in</strong>dication panel with contractors own material.<br />
