Instructions for applications for employment as, or promotion to, Researcher,
Senior Lecturer, Docent, and Professor at Kristianstad University
Instructions
The application should be structured in accordance with the template, p. 2–4. Use the headings in the
template and add information according to the instructions.
All documents should be supplied in:
- 1 set when the application is for promotion to Senior Lecturer. No publications need
accompany the application.
- 3 identical sets when the application is for appointment as Researcher and Senior Lecturer and
when applying for promotion to Docent.
- 4 identical sets when the application is for appointment as, or promotion to, Professor.
The original application should not be stapled: other sets can be copies and stapled.
Note that appendices too must be certified.
The application should have arrived at: Registrator, Högskolan Kristianstad, 291 88 Kristianstad, before
the expiry of the period of application. If the application is not complete at the time of applying, this
should be stated in the application and supplementary materials must arrive two weeks after the
application expiry date at the latest.

Cover letter
The cover letter states the position applied for, the application’s reference number, the name of the
applicant, title, residential address, phone number, email address, and preferably a fax number.
For promotion, the following should be stated in the cover letter: The title and subject to which the
promotion relates, the name of the applicant, title, residential address, phone number, email address,
and preferably a fax number.
The application should address Kristianstad University and be signed by the applicant. The appendices
should be certified.

Provide an account of your research skill during current and finalised projects and studies.
