GENERAL INFORMATION
The Wenger Stereo Workstation is shipped with the shelves and power strip packaged separately.
Note the following features which will help you use your new Stereo Workstation most effectively.
• The upper “desk” surface of the cabinet provides adequate space for a turntable or
electronic keyboard. In addition, there are several drawers and shelves that are readily
adaptable to your needs.
• To install the shelves, use four machine screws per shelf and place at desired location.
• To install 19" rack-mounted equipment, remove the shelves and install the rack mounts in their place.
• Use the opening at the back of the desk surface to route cords down into the power compartment.
• Install the power strip using four machine screws directly below the desk surface, above the shelves.
Behind the power strip there is a bracket for routing the power cords.
• There is a service door in the back of the cabinet, and below the door there are two openings for
cords. If standing behind the cabinet, the left-hand cord opening is for speakers or other equipment,
and the right-hand opening is for the cabinet power cord.
• The cabinet power cord is long enough to conveniently reach a wall receptacle.
Excess power cord is wound on a cord wrap bracket inside the service door.
For safety, uncoil only as much additional cord needed to reach the wall receptacle.
• Extra screws stored in a bag for later use.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
For removal of mild stains and mild scuff marks, the surfaces may be cleaned using an all-purpose
household cleaner (409, Fantastic, or similar), or just simple mild soap and water.
For heavier scuff marks, ink stains, felt pen and magic marker stains, or other tough stains; use a nonabrasive
cleaner (Soft Scrub or similar), or an industrial all-purpose cleaner (Acetone or similar).
Ammoniated or vinegar-based glass cleaners also work well for these stains.
Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners, as permanent damage could occur to the panel surface.
Be sure to quickly remove all cleanser residues with water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
HUMIDITY CONTROL
To insure longevity of panel performance, maintain the relative humidity between 25% - 55% at the
permanent installation site.
