Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit all forms and supporting documents prior to the
application deadline. An I-20 cannot be issued until ALL requirements are met.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Complete “International Admission Application” sections I and II. Please note this
information will be used on your I-20 Application and should be filled out correctly.
2. Complete the I-20 application sections I- III completely (Page 7)
3. Use the following list to check off all necessary requirements to receive admissions to
Nassau Community College and qualify for an I-20
___ High School Diploma (Original and Translated Copy)*
___ High School Transcript (Original and Translated Copy)
___ College Transcript/Diploma (Original and Translated Copy, WES evaluation required))*
___ Bank Statement (original / less than 3 months old – Page 9)
___ Financial Sponsorship form (must be notarized)
___ Proof of income (tax return if applicable)
___ Free room & board sponsorship form (must be notarized – Page 11)
___ Tax bill, deed, rent receipt or rent agreement
___ Transfer Verification Form (For transfer students from other US Schools- Page 12, as well as a
photocopy of your passport, visa, current I-20 and I-94.)___
___ Application Fee ($40.00 paid by check or credit card using the Application Fee Payment Form)
___ Certificate of Immunization Form (You can download the form from the Office of Health Services
website. This form must be submitted to Health Services prior to registration)
* Our office reserves the right to request an evaluation of all foreign education credentials
from the World Education Services in order to verify documentation. For more information,
please visit www.wes.org.
