Welcome back to the final term
of 2012. There are many events
happening this term that will
again highlight student talents in
music and drama.
Broadway or Bust, 19th & 20th October
This is the last opportunity
for students to register
for this exciting two day
workshop with Michael
Parks Masterson, a brilliant
performer/director and
choreographer from the
US. The workshop will be
held on Friday 19th and
Saturday 20th October.
The cost is RM 350.00.
Students who wish to
participate can collect an
enrolment form from me.
There are only 25 places
available and these are
going fast. Get in quickly.
Middle School Production, 22nd November 2012
The Middle School Production for 2012 is an adaptation
of “The Little Prince”. It will be performed in the Theatre
on 22nd November. Look out for more information and
publicity in the next newsletter.
Creative Arts Week, 12th - 16th November 2012
Creative Arts Week 2012 will feature performances
by students from across the school. Music and Drama
performances and Visual Arts Exhibitions will be on
show throughout the week. Put it in your diary now and
look out for a comprehensive program of events in the
next newsletter.

Welcome back to another busy
term in Music at AISM.
Instrumental Music Academy
Lessons will continue as normal
this term. Invoices for lessons
will be sent this week via email.
If you do not receive this invoice please contact Mr
McCormick at malcolmmccormick@aism.edu.
my. As a reminder there are eight lessons at RM
40.00 per lesson, unless students are advanced in
level. Fees should be paid by 25th October 2012.
Please let me know if you are discontinuing lessons
or would like to enroll for this term. Please see Mr

Singing Lessons
In addition to lessons in Instrumental Music, we
are considering offering singing lessons in both
contemporary and classical styles. If you are
interested in your son/daughter participating in
these lessons, please contact Mr McCormick as soon
as possible. Lessons will take place during school
hours and will cost RM 40.00 per lesson.
AISM Rocks!!, 14th November 2012
In week 6, as part of the Creative Arts week
activities, we will host an afternoon of rock and pop
here at AISM. Students who play rock or pop in
large or small groups or as soloists are encouraged
to prepare and perform at this event. Please see
Mr McCormick for information, help and sign ups
for this event. Parents are most welcome to attend
this event which will take place on Wednesday, 14th
November from 2.30pm – 3.10pm. More information
on this exciting event will follow.
