Dining with Giuseppe Verdi
Set against an elegant backdrop in the heart of the Milan metropolis, Don Carlos is

musician, Giuseppe Verdi, who spent the last years of his life in the Suite del Grand

wines. The menu is enhanced by the creative cuisine of Angelo Gangemi, a young,

Milan is also a city of fun! After a frantic

in Spring 2011, The Sky-Terrace Bar will
definitely be the place to go. Located just a

in the centre of Milan,
right in front of the
Galleria Vittorio
Emanuele, the historic
heart of the city,
the financial district
and the Milan Stock
Exchange, all of which
can be reached in just 3 minutes on foot from
the hotel. But, most important of all, we are just a
stone’s throw from the Quadrilatero della moda.
Therefore, when our guests ask us for advice
about shopping, all we need do is to point
them in the direction of via Montenapoleone
and via Della Spiga, where they will find all
the most famous designer labels in the world.
Conversely, if our guests are in search of
something antique or unusual, we suggest that
they take a walk around the old streets of Brera,
for antique shops, antique jewellery, paintings
and everything related to vintage objects.
And, obviously, it goes without saying that the
Galleria and Corso Vittorio Emanuele are also
extremely popular with our clientele.
For those who are more culture-oriented, the
spires of the Duomo are a “must see” experience.
From here you can admire a panoramic view
over the rooftops of Milan, La Scala and the La
Scala Museum and, just a short distance from
the Galleria, other places of cultural and artistic
interest such as the Museo Poldi Pezzoli, Palazzo
Reale, the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, the Castello
Sforzesco and, naturally, Santa Maria Delle Grazie
hosting “The Last Supper”.
