1. What is the Samsung Phone Sale Promotion about
The Samsung Phone Sale Promotion gives customers the opportunity to:
Purchase any Samsung phone under J$4,999 and receive J$200 credit free or a
J$200 rebate to your postpaid account
Purchase any Samsung phone between J$5,000 and J$12,999 and receive
J$300 credit free or a J$300 rebate to your postpaid account
Purchase any Samsung phone over $13,000 and receive J$500 credit free or a
J$500 rebate to your postpaid account.
2. What is the promotion Period
Promotion begins on Sunday June 5 th , 2011 and ends on Thursday June 30 th ,
2011.
3. Who can participate in promotion
All new and existing Digicel prepaid and postpaid customers who purchase any
handset from an authorized Digicel dealer during the promotional period are
eligible to receive the promotional offering.

Customers who purchase any of the handsets under this Promotion shall
receive free credit as stated amounts in the table above.
Customers who purchase any of the listed Samsung phones for J$4,999 or
less shall receive J$200 credit free or a J$200 rebate to your postpaid
account.
Customers who purchase any of the listed Samsung phones between
J$5,000 and J$12,999, shall receive J$300 credit free or a J$300 rebate to
your postpaid account
If the customer purchases any Samsung phone over $13,000, the customer
will receive J$500 credit free or a J$500 rebate to your postpaid account.
The credit will be printed and handed to the customer upon purchase of
any of the selected handsets.

Postpaid customers will receive a rebate to the number provided within
24hours of purchasing any handset mentioned in the promotion.
N.B. Only one bonus voucher/rebate will be added to a number per
week.
5. How is the credit added to the customer’s account
All $200, $300 or $500 bonus credit will be applied to the customer’s
account as bonus credit and will not be added to their main balance.
Once the credit is added, the customer must dial *120*8# to verify the
new balance.
6. What can prepaid customers use the credit for
Digicel to Digicel calls only.
Credit will NOT be added to the Main account.
7. Can the Samsung Phone Sale Promotional Credit be transferred via Credit

8. Are corporate hybrid and dual account customers required to use the dialing
prefix *949 when making a call
Yes. Corporate hybrid and dual account customers are required to dial
*949 before the number being dialed in order to use the credit.
9. How do prepaid customers check their credit received from the Samsung
Phone Sale Promotion
Prepaid customers will enter *120*7# to check their balance, as the credit
will NOT be added to the main account.
N.B. For postpaid customers, the bonus credit will be rebated to their
account.

10. When will the credit expire
Credit will expire after seven (7) days of being added to the customer’s
account.
11. How do you determine the credit value that each customer receives
Handsets with values under $5000 will receive two hundred dollars (J$200) call
credit or a J$200 rebate to your postpaid account
Handsets with values at $5000 - $12,999 will receive three hundred dollars
(J$300) call credit or a J$300 rebate to your postpaid account
Handsets valued at $13,000 or more will receive five hundred dollars (J$500) call
credit or a J$500 rebate to your postpaid account.
12. What is needed to become a Digi-Select customer

14. Can loyalty points be used with the discounted prices upon purchasing a
handset
Yes
Loyalty points can be used to purchase the discounted handsets.
15. Is the Digicel Free Nights and weekend activated upon purchase
No, this is not offered in the promotion
If customer wishes to activate Free Nights and Weekend Plan he/she
may dial the code *138#. The customer will be charged the monthly
subscription of $350 per month.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE DIGICEL
SAMSUNG PHONE SALE PROMOTION
1. The Samsung Phone Sale Promotion, ‘the Promotion’, is available to all
new Digicel customers and existing Digicel customers (‘Customers’)
2. The Promotion begins on Sunday, June 5, 2011 until Thursday, June 30,
2011 or while stocks last.
3. Digicel reserves the right to change the dates of the Promotion at any time.
4. During the Promotion Period the following handsets will be on sale:

of these events notice will be given via media advertisements or messages
to subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of the date referred
to in such notifications.
