Division employee
responsibilities include
operations, water supply,
engineering, hydrology,
project development and
regional laboratory services.
They also provide
assistance to communities
and customers in the
areas of drought contingency
planning, water
sales and delivery, flow
monitoring, water rights,
Guadalupe basin hydrology
studies and wastewater
process evaluation.
Operations staff handle
the management,
administration, operation
and maintenance of all
GBRA facilities in the
Guadalupe River basin
including seven hydroelectric
dams and plants;
Canyon Reservoir and the
sale of water stored in the
reservoir; water delivery
systems supplying municipal,
irrigation, and industrial
users; four water
treatment plants; eleven
wastewater reclamation
plants; and the Coleto
Creek Reservoir and its
related recreation facilities.
Yolanda Pierce,
Operations Secretary,
provides support to
Project Development,
Construction and
Operations personnel.
Operations administration
is the responsibility
of Susan Cochran,
Operations Secretary;
Sue Brush, Operations
Assistant; and Fred
Blumberg, Deputy
General Manager.
