Fixed Defects
Fixed Defects
Not able to convert the exported file to .avi format using standalone player
Exported files can be converted via Player Application to .avi format. But there is a
limitation: AVI conversion can only deal with one resolution in the original mp4 file.
Other parts of the video can not be converted properly. It is not encouraged to convert
a MP4 video with several resolutions into AVI video. (173)
Playback in 4-up Mode is not consistent for Web Browser
This defect has been improved but three limitations remain.
Under 4-ch synchronous playback, it's unable to set an aux camera with Audio On.
The current solution is to allow users to play back the audio of the first (main) camera
only. The other cameras will be played back with video stream only. The reason is that
synchronization between the audio and video of an aux camera will affect the overall
performance of 4-ch video playback.
During 4-ch synchronized playback, if "main channel" (1st channel, in the top-left
corner) IP camera has lower frame rate than other cameos, all cameos/channels will
playback at the same speed as 1st channel video fps. If the 1st channel IPC has
higher frame rate than the other channels, then playback speed of each channel will
be normal.
Poor synchronous performance can be observed when setting the main camera at
1fps or lower and there is also a huge gap of frame rate between the main camera and
aux cameras. The reason is that time update of the main camera will be followed by
other cameras. It's nearly impossible to align the main camera of a low frame rate with
an aux camera of a much higher frame rate. (132)
v4.2e: Zoom In operation when the streaming is paused in playback mode makes the
video blank (147)
v4.2e: Mismatched search results are displayed, when record is scheduled with Motion
or Alarm (149)
Display Brightness is not changing as per user setting (127)
Player pop up pane shows some junk text at display (130)
Display Device shows Empty Square Box in the Player application (172)
Step Backward is misspelled as Step Bacward in Player application (171)
Illegal Access is misspelled as Illegel Access in Exception Parameters of the Browser
menu (178)
"Lable" is seen in the IP address field of the Analog Alarm Input settings in the browser
configuration (179)
Next Page and Back buttons in browser archive pop-up window does not work (191)
Known Limitations
This section describes the known limitations of the TVR 60.
• The front panel firmware may be updated using future firmware versions:
Upgrading the front panel firmware from versions 1 thru 6 to v7 must
be done via a serial port. Upgrading v7 and higher will be done in the
DVR box firmware. There are no new features in front panel firmware
version 6 to 7. If version 1 is installed, it should be upgraded to v7.
Contact Technical Support for additional information. TVR 60 units
shipped in the Americas did not have v1 front panel firmware, so there
is no need to upgrade the front panel firmware.
