The HR strategy of KONTINUITA poisťovňa, a.s. Vienna<br />

Insurance Group defines the main areas of HR management<br />

and specific challenges of working with human<br />

capital. All HR activities focus upon the maximum contribution<br />

of each individual’s work towards meeting the<br />

company goals. The HR strategy is directed towards<br />

building an efficient company, able to adapt in a globalising<br />

world. Our employees and their performance are<br />

the carriers of innovation at all levels of company hierarchy.<br />

We create a climate which supports the professional<br />

and personal growth of our employees and plays an active<br />

role in order to increase the company environment<br />

loyalty.<br />

The HR strategy supports the overall company strategy,<br />

as well as that of Vienna Insurance Group and is based<br />

on the company’s main objectives:<br />

- Further market share improvement,<br />

- Increases of company revenues, expressed by the total<br />

premiums written,<br />

- Increasing profitability,<br />

- To be No. 1 on the Slovak insurance market.<br />

The HR strategy provides a professional, open and<br />

supportive environment, where people are treated in<br />

a fair manner and where they are provided with opportunities<br />

to realise their full potential allowing the<br />

company to reach its goals.<br />

Our vision in HR<br />

The growth and competitiveness of a company depend<br />

on the fact whether it is able to attract high-quality and<br />

talented employees and whether it will help them in efficiently<br />

realising their potential for its own benefit. The<br />

only means of achieving a sustainable competitive advantage<br />

are the people and their knowledge, their attitude<br />

towards work, company and to each other. Hence,<br />

the essential function of managers is to acquire and<br />

keep such employees who will be committed in their positions<br />

while performing their job duties, as well as independent<br />

and highly efficient.<br />

People are the most important asset we have in the<br />

company, therefore working with them is a top priority<br />
