4. POOL RULES
A. Swimming pool hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. The
poo1 will remain open until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
B. The pool will be closed when the weather conditions deem it necessary
(lightning, hailstorm or temperature below 65 degrees).
C. Reckless play, running, spitting, undue splashing, excessively loud radios
or cassette players are not allowed.
D. Frisbees and balls are not allowed due to the small size of the pool area.
Inflatable beach balls are allowed.
E. Floatation devices are allowed only if they do not interfere with other
swimmers.
F. Guests must be accompanied by an owner/tenant. The maximum number
of guests at any one time is two.
G. For safety, children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18
years or older at all times when in the pool area.
H. Diapers, whether cloth or disposable, must be covered with rubber pants.
I. Proper swim attire is required; no cutoffs or jean shorts.
J. The pool may be reserved by an owner or resident for parties after 7 p.m.
with a limit of 20 people, and the homeowner or resident must be present. Youth
(persons under 14) may attend parties only if accompanied by an adult 18 years or
older.
1. A $100 damage deposit is required for all pool parties. No
exceptions.
2. Said deposit will be refunded to the homeowner if the pool
committee representative does not report any damage to the pool area.
3. All reservations must be made one week in advance by contacting
the Board at the Sun Valley West Phone Line at 720/562-2238 or the email
at info@sunvalleywest.org.
4. It is understood that even if the pool has been reserved for a party,
any homeowner may use the pool at the time of the party.
K. Persons with communicable or infectious diseases, open sores, cuts,
bandages or recent vaccinations should refrain from using the pool while these
conditions exist.
L. Glassware, gum, candy or chewing tobacco are not allowed in the pool
area at any time.
M. Bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, roller skates, or other play equipment are
not allowed in the swimming pool area.
N. Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool area. They are not to be in any
part of the common area around the pool, whether leashed or unleashed. The
owner will be asked to leave and take his/her pet home.
O. Pool furniture is on a “first come, first served” basis. However, if
availability of furniture is minimal, the furniture should be reserved for use by
adults first.
P. Owners and residents will be financially responsible for any damage to the
