The family of Edway is one of the most popular red and<br />
white cow families in <strong>German</strong>y that has produced an entire<br />
line-up of highly positive bulls, as well as Maxima EX<br />
94. The Meggilee EX 91 family is a reliable source for<br />
good production figures and outstanding conformation.<br />
If you know Edway’s cow family, you can imagine his<br />
transmission strengths. The appealing, juvenile heifers<br />
impress with their good frame. They are clearly above<br />
average for type and they show sufficient strength and<br />
lots of development potential. The nice rumps have an<br />
average slope and adequate width to allow optimal<br />
calving results, completing the harmonic overall picture.<br />
Edway is even stronger in transmission for udders than<br />
for feet and legs. The udder floor is well above the<br />
hocks. The udders excel with their fine texture. Rear<br />
udders which are attached very high, have a good suspensory<br />
ligament. They are attached really firmly in the<br />
fore as well and this completes the well-balanced udder<br />
package perfectly. Teats are set correctly and are of the<br />
desired length.<br />
Edway improves conformation and is from a good family.<br />
He scores with positive protein transmission and adequate<br />
milk yield. This positive impression is confirmed<br />
by good values for the secondary traits, good longevity<br />
and excellent udder health.
