Production and longevity: These are the strengths of the<br />
sires which form Short Cut’s pedigree. Moreover, he<br />
brings slightly different bloodlines due to his dam’s sire<br />
Lambada (s. Celsius).<br />
The daughters of Short Cut are very harmonic animals<br />
with medium dairy type and lots of development potential.<br />
Being of average stature, their fore hand strength<br />
and topline are especially noteworthy. The rumps, which<br />
are correctly sloped, impress with their above average<br />
width so that the Short Cut daughters calve without any<br />
problems.<br />
Feet and legs, which have optimal parallel set, enable<br />
very good locomotion due to their correct angle. The<br />
quality of the feet should also be mentioned.<br />
The well-textured udders of the Short Cut daughters<br />
score with their firm attachment and the good suspensory<br />
ligament. Rear udders are adequate, highly attached<br />
and wide, but the special strength of this Shottle son is<br />
outstanding fore udder attachment. With normal teat<br />
placement, Short Cut can also really positively influence<br />
teat length.<br />
Due to his very good longevity, functional conformation<br />
and outstanding milk yield with high persistency, Short<br />
Cut is a bull to be widely used to breed trouble-free,<br />
healthy cows for long-term production.
