Two of the most successful German bulls of the past few
years are united in their strengths, but also in NOG
Mato’s pedigree: Mascol and Laudan. The cow family of
NOG Mato‘s dam WEH Jessica has been used intensively
by A.I. studs for a long time and the qualities of
this bloodline are confirmed in these times of genomic
selection. These qualities are high milk yield, positive
protein percentages, high longevity and functional
conformation.
The daughters of NOG Mato excel with their uniformity.
Being of medium stature and having good dairy type,
they have lots of frame, strength and capacity. Rumps of
the animals are of slightly above average width and enable
good calving results due to their correct slope.
The very clean feet and legs are angled normally and
enable excellent locomotion by the NOG Mato daughters
also helped by their parallel set. Furthermore, foot
quality should be praised.
Udders score with their good texture and balance. Rear
udders are highly attached, clearly above average and
have a distinct suspensory ligament. Fore udders, which
vary a little in their length, are firmly attached and have
nice harmony. Udders of the animals can be considered
very functional and durable thanks also to correct teat
placement.
NOG Mato breeds trouble-free cows which will deal
very well with any production system. He excels with
good milk production and highly positive protein percentages.
In addition, this heifer bull achieves excellent
figures in all fitness traits, bringing to mind his famous
sire.
